Creation of a green belt in Salman Farsi Agro-Industry Co./ Plantation of 11,000 eucalyptus seedlings by the end of March / Plans for planting 3,000 palms
The C.E.O. of Salman Farsi Agro. Industry Co., announced the creation of a green belt in this agro-industry Co.
According to the P.R. Department of the Sugarcane Development Company, Amin Nasirian stated: With the planting of seedlings in the seven sugarcane development agro-industries, the plantation of more than 11,000 eucalyptus seedlings in Salman Farsi agro-industry has begun.
He added: so far, more than 1,500 eucalyptus seedlings have been planted and the process of planting these seedlings in an area of 50 hectares will continue until the end of March this year.
The C.E.O. of Salman Farsi Agro. Industry Co., further specified: Creating landscapes, protection of the environment, creating employment, economic prosperity and prevention of dust storm occurrence, and etc. are among the goals of planting seedlings in Salman Farsi Sugarcane agro-Industry.
Nasirian, referring to the continuation of tree planting in this agro-industry, said: According to the plans, in the near future, an area of 8 hectares will be allocated for the planting of 3,000 palms in Salman agro-industry.
It should be mentioned that the Sugarcane & By-products Development Company, in association and collaboration with the Khuzestan Green Movement Headquarters, the Administration of Natural Resources of the province and in cooperation with non-governmental organizations, have planted more than 4.1 million fruitful and non-fruitful seedlings, within its seven agro-industry lands in the recent years, and have carried out basic measures for preparing lands for planting more seedlings, which include leveling, subsoiling, artificial creek installation, well drilling, water supply, landscaping and landscape designing operations, plantation, maintenance, cultivation and irrigation.
