The CEO of Sugarcane Development & By-Products Co. said: By processing 8,000 tons of sugar the record of daily sugar production was broken for the first time in the seven sugarcane units of Khuzestan.
Dr. Abd Ali Naseri at the launch of the production line for impregnation of MDF industrial board paper in Lohe Sabz Jonoob Company in Imam Khomeini Agro-Industry Inc. located in Shoaibiyeh, Shushtar, during the interview with the reporters, added: By setting this record, the seven sugarcane agro-units approached their nominal capacity.
He intoned, the timely repairs of industrial equipment of sugar factories, the unyielding and jihadist efforts of workers and managers and the good process of sugarcane harvest, has been effective in attaining an unprecedented record of daily sugar production and predicted that by the end of the harvest season (April 1400) more than 600,000 tons of sugar will be produced in the seven agro-units of the company.
Naseri continued: “Since the beginning of the sugarcane harvest (October 19, 2020), 200,000 tons of sugar has been produced in the seven sugarcane units.”
The CEO of Sugarcane Development & By-Products Co. further expressed his hope that by the end of the harvest of 5.5 million tons of sugarcane, 200,000 tons more sugar will be produced in the seven sugarcane units in comparison to the previous year.
