The CEO of the Sugarcane Development & By-Products Co. said: The first shipment from the Bio carbon dioxide gas factory was exported to Iraq.

Abd Ali Naseri, referring to the activities of the carbon dioxide gas recovery factory in the Sugarcane Development & By-Products Co., stated: “This gas was previously released into the air due to the lack of necessary processing technology and caused environmental pollution.”

By affirming that carbon dioxide gas is one of the by-products of the alcohol and yeast factory, he added: “In this factory, part of the carbon in the sugars is converted to carbon dioxide gas due to the activity of microorganisms used in the production process.”
