According to the PR report of Sugarcane & By-Products Development Company, announcing this news on the eve of the birth of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), Dr. Abd Ali Naseri stated: “After paying the two arrears, we are looking for solutions to improve the living conditions of the Haft Tappeh workers.” In order to maintain health and reduce medical expenses, Haft Tappeh workers and their families will be covered by extended insurance coverage from 1st of Azar (November 22nd 2021).
He appreciated the conclusion of the Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare to solve the insurance problem of October and November for Hafta Tappeh employees and said that from December this year, employee social security premiums will be paid simultaneously with other Agro-Industries and will be covered by extended insurance coverage.
The CEO of Sugarcane & By-Products Development Co. further informed about the company’s preparations for the greater welfare of Hafta Tappeh employees and said that the issues and problems of Hafta Tappeh employees, like other sugarcane Agro-Industries, are a priority and we are working to improve the current situation.
According to him, with the payment of arrears, the efforts of the workers of this industrial complex to return to production conditions have been doubled, and the reconstruction of worn-out parts, cleaning and repairs of the machines are progressing step by step.
In the end, Naseri congratulated the arrival of the blessings of the birth of the Prophet of Light and Mercy, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and the birth of his saint progeny, Imam Jafar Sadegh (AS), and expressed hope that with the sympathy created among all officials to solve the problems of Iran’s oldest sugarcane unit, with the efforts of the employees of this complex, we will once again see the prosperity of its production and its triumph.
At the meeting held on October 10th, 2021, chaired by Mohammad Mokhber, the first vice president, to determine the future of Haft Tappeh Agro-Industrial Co. the management of this huge complex was handed over to the Sugarcane & By-Products Development Co.
With the transfer of Haft Tappeh Agro-Industry to the Sugarcane & By-Products Development Co., on Monday, October 18th, two months of arrears were paid to the employees of this complex, and the employee salaries will be updated from the 1st of Azar (November 22nd 2021).
This company with about five thousand employees is located 15 km south of Shoush city and it is the eighth Sugarcane & By-Products Development Co. project.
