Beekeepers ovation of Sugarcane Development & By-products Co. (SDBP) due to the restricted use of chemical pesticides
One of the beekeepers in Amirkabir sugarcane Agro-industry stated: Sugarcane Development Agro-Industries (SDBP) are the best place to establish honey colonies due to the restricted use of chemical pesticides in Rapeseed fields.
According to the P.R. Office of the Sugarcane Development Co. (SDBP), Rahmani said: “The use of pesticides causes the death of bees in every colony and Bee mortality due to feeding on pesticide sprayed plants is one of the main problems of beekeepers.”
He added: “Beekeepers tend to be located next to Rapeseed fields in Sugarcane Development Agro-industries (SDBP) because pesticides are not used and the honey produced has a good quality and quantity.”
This Beekeeper by stating that beekeeping flourishes every year with the flowering of Rapeseed fields, specified: Bee colonies play an important role in increasing crop production through pollination.
