According to the PR report, at the same time with the beginning of sugarcane cultivation in the Seven Sugarcane Development Agro-industries, the unveiling ceremony of the fifth harvester made by the Sugarcane Development Co. was held in Salman Farsi Agro-Industry.
According to this report, this sugarcane harvester has been designed and built by Salman Farsi Agro-Industry experts in collaboration with the province’s domestic producers.
In this regard, the CEO of Sugarcane Development Company described the localization of the Harvester as an important step in the face of sanctions imposed on the country and said: ” By using the scientific and research potential of the sugarcane industry, effective measures have been taken in the field of self-sufficiency of agricultural equipment required by this industry.”
Dr. Abd Ali Naseri added: “The ingenuity and efforts of sugarcane industry experts have turned the threat of sanctions into an opportunity to flourish, and so far, based on local knowledge, the company has built rubber and chain wheel Harvesters.”
The CEO of Sugarcane Development Co. described the making of the Sugarcane Harvester as a strategic step in the Sugarcane Industry and added: “More than 50% of Khuzestan’s agricultural production is related to sugarcane, and this increases our responsibilities in terms of domestic equipment production.”
According to him, the green sugarcane harvest is being advanced annually in the Seven Sugarcane Development Companies, and this year it will increase compared to last year due to the optimization of the harvest mechanization.

Increasing productivity and self-sufficiency by making sugarcane harvesters
The CEO of Salman Farsi Agro-Industry, also pointed to the goals of manufacturing the first sugarcane harvester in this company and stated: this machine has an important role in mechanized harvesting of sugarcane in a green way and protection of the environment.
According to Amin Nasirian, the systems and parts of this rubber wheel harvester have been made by Salman Farsi Agro-Industry experts in order to increase productivity and self-sufficiency in the sugarcane industry.
Harvester machine is used in the process of harvesting sugarcane and before this, Amirkabir, Dehkhoda and Imam Khomeini (RA) Agro-Industries succeeded in localizing and manufacturing this machine.
