The sweet end of the sugarcane harvest in the “most unprecedented” drought of half a century
Dr. Naseri: I warmly embrace the hands of each Sugarcane Worker
The secret of the sweetness of the tall stems of the reed lies in the heart of the nights when the workers, in the scorching heat and temperature from the fading of the sun at dusk till the rising of its golden light in the sky, worked hard to develop the lands.
The mystery of the sweet nectar of the reeds in a pleasant spring lies in the calloused hands of the workers who, during the jihad in the trenches of production, in their solitude, while praying they called on the Lord not to let us go through the oppressive moments of the drought, so that the roots of the sugarcane would not wither in the soil, its stems would not bend in the face of the troubles of nature, and its leaves would not turn yellow and wither.
The enigma of the sweet song of the reeds is reflected in the hardship and the suffering of those who died and “fought” in the trenches of production so that the foundation of the economy would remain strong and stable against the sanctions.
Currently, at the end of the harvest of the last green clusters of sugarcane fields, I warmly embrace the hands of each worker, which this sweet song is from the alchemy of zeal and effort that they have committed to the development of this land in order to figure out a better future for our country with effort and empathy.
And now, at the end of a season of endeavor and effort, with open arms to his door, for this blessed day that he has given us and the vast springs that have simmered over us with His mercy and on the abundance of blessings that He has spread over our brothers and sisters, we have nothing to offer but prayer and need and thanksgiving: “O God, make our hearts the field of your love.”
